Our client is seeking a Key Account Manager who will be responsible for managing and developing key accounts within the organisation, ensuring customer satisfaction, driving sales growth, and achieving business objectives. This role requires a strategic thinker with excellent relationship management skills, a deep understanding of the FMCG market, and the ability to drive revenue through effective account management.
Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key accounts.
Serve as the primary point of contact for key clients, addressing their needs and concerns promptly.
Conduct regular account reviews and update clients on new products, promotions, and business opportunities.
Develop and implement strategic account plans to achieve sales targets and business objectives.
Identify opportunities for growth within key accounts and develop strategies to capitalize on them.
Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction by delivering exceptional service and support.
Work closely with marketing, supply chain, and customer service teams to ensure seamless service delivery.
Coordinate with internal teams to resolve any issues affecting key accounts promptly.
Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms with key accounts to ensure mutual benefit.
Monitor contract compliance and manage renewals and extensions as needed.
Conduct market research and analysis to stay informed about industry trends and competitor activities.
Prepare and present regular sales reports, forecasts, and performance metrics to senior management.

Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.

Strong understanding of the FMCG market and consumer behaviour in South Africa.
Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
