About the Role

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Client General Manager to oversee client relationships and drive business growth in the Gauteng Region. This role is crucial in ensuring exceptional service delivery, client satisfaction, and long-term partnerships.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in client management, account growth, and strategic planning, with a proven ability to lead teams and drive revenue.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Client Relationship & Business Growth
    1. Manage and nurture key client relationships to ensure retention and satisfaction.
    2. Identify and pursue new business opportunities within Gauteng, driving expansion and market penetration.
    3. Engage with potential clients through networking, industry events, and direct outreach.
    4. Develop strategic plans to enhance service delivery and maximize client value.
    5. Oversee the full client lifecycle, from acquisition to ongoing account management.
    6. Work closely with sales and marketing teams to develop and execute targeted campaigns.
    7. Present tailored solutions that align with client needs, focusing on connectivity, voice, and managed services.
    8. Drive revenue growth through upselling, cross-selling, and new client acquisition.
  2. Strategic Leadership & Market Analysis
    1. Conduct market research to stay ahead of industry trends, competitor activity, and customer demands.
    2. Develop and implement business development strategies that align with company objectives.
    3. Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless execution of client projects and service delivery.
    4. Monitor performance metrics and adjust strategies to achieve business goals.

Requirements & Qualifications

  1. Proven experience in client management, account management, or a leadership role in a related field.
  2. Strong track record in managing large accounts or a client portfolio.
  3. Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  4. Ability to analyze market conditions and develop tailored client solutions.
  5. Familiarity with CRM systems and client management software.
  6. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
  7. Highly client-focused with a commitment to service excellence.
  8. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.
  9. Willingness to travel for client meetings and business development opportunities within Gauteng.
