A leading company in the fats and oils industry is seeking a seasoned sales professional to drive growth and manage key accounts. The successful candidate will leverage their airline experience and analytical prowess to identify new revenue streams and foster customer loyalty, contributing to the company's success in a competitive market.
Key Responsibilities
Drive the sales and commercial action plan for the assigned portfolio to deliver the budgeted revenue and volume objectives in the Inland region.
Identify new sales opportunities and implement strategies for new and expanded revenue streams.
Develop and service customers to maximize loyalty and revenue, being agile and adaptable to market changes, competition, and opportunities.
Ensure customer satisfaction and experience across all assigned segments and trade portfolios.
Manage and grow existing key accounts and prospect new clients across the product range.
Forecast management in coordination with logistics.
Manage pallet logistics with the internal team.
Follow credit processes for new business and keep accounts receivable updated for current customers.
Understand and pursue all business segments (Distributors, Food Service, Manufacturing).
Mobilize, implement, and promote trade shows and marketing initiatives to market our brands.
Apply sales and marketing techniques to foster customer loyalty and enhance brand presence.
Negotiate B2B contracts, analyze competitors, and recommend pricing strategies.
Gather and analyze market intelligence to support decision-making.
Organize promotional activities for incremental business growth.
Ensure timely distribution of promotional literature.
Participate in industry shows, functions, seminars, and exhibitions.
Report on customer and trade performance, market intelligence, and track performance metrics.
Build and maintain strong relationships with colleagues to leverage partnerships.
Minimum of 5 years airline experience in sales and marketing.
Experience in selling fats and oils in the B2B space is required.
Strong analytical skills, excellent negotiation skills, and the ability to influence.
Proficiency in PowerPoint, MS Word, and Excel.
