Our client a well-established importer and distributor, delivering leading global products to over 10 000 stores is seeking 3 Key Account Managers to join their team in Cape Town or Johannesburg. This role will be responsible for managing and growing the company’s digital storage devices, ensuring strong relationships with key retail partners and driving brand success in the market.

Reporting into the Chief Commercial Officer, the successful incumbent will be highly motivated to drive growth, have a proven track record of increasing sales, and excel at identifying and securing new business opportunities.

Location: Cape Town or Johannesburg (flexible to travel)

ESSENTIAL: Matric / Grade 12

ESSENTIAL: 5+ years key account management experience in FMCG and/or consumer electronics industry

ESSENTIAL: Highly proficient in Excel

ESSENTIAL: Drivers’ licence / own reliable vehicle

ESSENTIAL: Proven track record of achieving sales goals and targets

ESSENTIAL: In-depth understanding of distribution, analyzing stock on hand and various distribution points, etc.

Key Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Develop and manage strong relationships with major accounts, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and retention
  • Identify and acquire new business opportunities
  • Deliver compelling presentations to potential clients, showcasing products and solutions
  • Engage with both internal and external stakeholders to ensure seamless service delivery
  • Consistently meet and exceed sales targets for new appointments, revenue generation, and account growth
  • Understand and stay current with the latest product offerings and competitive landscape
