Job Opportunity: Key Accounts Manager at CIRO

The Coffee Importers and Roasters Organisation (CIRO) is a leading coffee emporium offering services in sourcing, roasting, blending, packaging, training, equipment, technical support, distribution, and market analysis. As the largest manufacturer of pure coffee in South Africa, CIRO is renowned for quality, innovation, and value.

We are seeking a Key Accounts Manager based in Bryanston. The role involves growing value, volume, and profit for national accounts by developing and executing sales strategies, leading customer teams, and fostering customer-centric relationships.

Reporting Line: Sales Executive

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Achieve Financial Results: Lead regional sales teams to identify new opportunities, drive growth, manage customer contracts, review pricing, and build strong relationships for mutual benefit.
  2. Volume Growth & New Business: Meet volume targets across channels, maintain promotional strategies, and forecast for equipment and products.
  3. Sales Productivity: Develop channel plans, conduct quarterly reviews, and manage POS placement to enhance brand awareness.
  4. Customer Retention: Monitor coffee volumes, identify low-performing areas, and implement retention strategies.
Qualifications & Experience:
  • Matric/Grade 12 and business-related qualification
  • Minimum 5 years in foodservice sales
Required Knowledge & Skills:
  • Advanced sales, negotiation, and report analysis skills
  • Proficiency in MS Office and sales systems
  • Expertise in beverage solutions and specialty coffee, especially in Out of Home markets

  • Effective communication, attention to detail, data interpretation, organization, and analytical thinking
