Job description

  • Compile and manage the sales strategy per client for the selected region.
  • Be prepared to travel to and service clients in various countries that are part of the KAM portfolio.
  • Manage the necessary registration and demonstration trials in various countries regarding the AECI Plant Health product range.
  • Assist in drafting crop programmes, promotional material, and presentations for the AECI Plant Health product range to help clients promote and sell the products successfully.
  • Maintain solid technical knowledge of the AECI Plant Health product range to assist distributors and farmers technically on farm and offer solutions to their problems.
  • Understand the requirements of farmers and how the AECI Plant Health product range fits into their farming practices.
  • Attend farmers’ days and promote the AECI Plant Health product range.
  • Ensure the technical team conducts necessary demonstration trials on farms.
  • Train clients on the AECI Plant Health product range.
  • Evaluate competitor products in various markets to position the AECI Plant Health product range strategically.
  • Prioritize customer satisfaction and respond accordingly.
  • Manage and guide shared resources across African countries.
  • Assist the Commercial Manager with timely forecasts of product requirements in various countries for respective clients.
  • Conform to relevant SHEQ rules and regulations as per company policy.
  • Ensure adherence to high safety standards.
  • Possess the ability to solve problems systematically.
  • Adhere to all internal control policies as directed by Management.
  • Undertake any legal ad hoc tasks for which the incumbent is competent, as directed by Management.
