About the Role:

The position requires an experienced and driven salesperson with expertise in software sales. The Salesperson is responsible for driving new, up- and cross sales across LexisNexis solutions lines. The Salesperson’s main accountabilities will be too pro-actively prospect, qualify and close new, up- and cross sell sales opportunities. The role works in close partnership with internal and external partners to proactively drive growth.

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver annual financial performance of Business Unit Drive customer retention strategies
  • Proactively drive pipeline creation and gross sales
  • Effectively manage pipeline and accurate forecasting
  • Structure, negotiate and close deals, working closely with account management team
  • Help develop, and then execute on, a sales strategy within your defined territory.
  • Effectively manage multiple sales opportunities

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years sales and software experience in technology sales.
  • A self-starter with a consistent track record in a quota bearing sales environment.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to interact with customers in a consultative, face-to-face selling and social media selling.
  • Ability to present face-to-face and on online platforms.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, constantly evolving and rapidly growing product sales environment.
  • Critical thinking skills Demonstrated ability to plan and execute sales strategies.
  • Proven sales track record in previous roles.
