Are you thinking about improving your career development and your professional growth? We invite you to join one of the most successful international logistics organizations here at Kuehne+Nagel. We are looking for a KC Finance Payroll Specialist to join our Finance team.

Your Role

You will manage payroll processing for 1,500 headcounts by overseeing and supervising the country's payroll functions (where software implementation is completed) in the Region, ensuring pay is processed on time, accurately, and in compliance with local rules and regulations. You will maintain the records and distribution of payroll reports and withheld amounts if applicable, and assist the Payroll Manager in the Regional Finance Knowledge Centre Payroll department.

Your Responsibilities

  1. You implement, maintain, and review payroll processing to ensure timely and accurate processing of payroll transactions including salaries, benefits, garnishments, taxes, and other deductions.
  2. You ensure accurate and timely processing of payroll updates including new hires, terminations, and changes in the remuneration package in SAGE300 People (payroll system).
  3. You will prepare and maintain accurate records and reports of payroll transactions.
  4. You identify and recommend updates to payroll procedures and drive automation/standardization processes.
  5. Distribute the monthly Payroll Process Reporting Timetable to all country finance managers in the region.
  6. You update all headcount and FTE changes in SAGE300 People payroll system.
  7. You professionally manage the SAGE300 payroll system and maintain relationships with SAGE and Business Consultants.
  8. Register all new employees in WEBSS (employee leave module system) and manage leave days.
  9. Prepare End of Service Agreements when requested.
  10. You will maintain payroll guidelines by writing and updating policies and procedures, and keep your professional and technical knowledge up to date.
  11. Resolve payroll inquiries in a professional manner.
  12. Prepare reports for upper regional/country management, finance department, etc., when requested.

Your Skills and Experiences

  1. Bachelor's degree in business administration, accounting, finance, economics, or a related field, or a diploma in payroll.
  2. Minimum 4+ years proven experience in multinational payroll.
  3. Fluent in English; Arabic is a plus.
  4. Strong knowledge of payroll practices, labor laws, standards, laws, and multinational payroll tax regulations.
  5. Excellent communication, project management, coordination, and presentation skills with a hands-on mindset.
  6. In-depth knowledge of analytics, Excel, and MS Office tools.
  7. Commitment to fostering a positive workplace culture and employee engagement.
