Herotel Oudtshoorn is seeking a Junior Infrastructure Technician to support construction, installation and maintenance of wireless and fibre networks under supervision. You will work on towers, fibre routes, and power equipment, with safety training and career development through the internal academy.

Qualificações

• Grade 12; Maths/Science advantageous.
• 1–2 years’ relevant industry experience.
• Valid driver’s license (off-road driving advantageous).
• Valid medical certificate.
• Tower Rescue Training completed.

Responsabilidades

• Assist in construction, installation and maintenance of towers, fibre networks and supporting structures.
• Support high site outage responses and fibre network repairs.
• Climb tall structures (50m+) carrying loads up to 20kg.
• Install, replace and maintain antenna systems and tower equipment.
• Assist with expanding fibre infrastructure where required.
• Install and maintain various cable and connector types.
• Weatherproof installations for durability.
• Follow job cards and schedules; escalate risks.
• Identify safety hazards and ensure compliance.
