Our client is looking for a talented Voice and Data Engineer to enhance their team.

The successful candidate will have a deep knowledge of SIP protocols, IP networking, and substantial hands-on experience with Cloud PBX and VoIP systems.

Proficiency in using Mikrotik Routerboard is critical.

A valid driver's license is a must, and relevant certifications are preferred.

POSITION INFO:

Key Responsibilities:

1. Set up, configure, and maintain new customer data links through various cloud platforms.
2. Create tickets, troubleshoot issues, and follow up on data links identified as problematic by the monitoring system.
3. Manage and configure SIP protocols, Yealink IP Phones, WiFi Access Points, and other IP networking devices to ensure seamless communication.
4. Deploy and maintain Cloud PBX and VoIP solutions for clients.
5. Install, configure, and resolve issues related to Mikrotik Routerboard devices.
6. Perform network assessments for customers and offer recommendations for enhancements.
7. Monitor and enhance network performance to ensure high reliability and availability.
8. Work with cross-functional teams to integrate voice and data solutions with other IT systems.
9. Provide technical support and training to clients and staff when needed.
10. Document configurations, processes, and procedures for future reference.

Qualifications:

1. Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
2. Demonstrated experience in voice and data engineering with a focus on SIP protocols and IP networking.
3. Hands-on experience with Cloud PBX and VoIP systems.
4. Expertise in Mikrotik Routerboard setup and management.
5. Valid driver's license.
6. Certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, or similar are an asset.
