Job summary

Boardroom Appointments is seeking a Junior Treasury Accountant in Gauteng, South Africa. The role focuses on daily cash flow management, bank reconciliations, and payment processing across ZAR and USD, using Pastel and the FNB portal.

Responsibilities include updating cash flow, coordinating payments, preparing invoices, and intercompany reconciliations, with emphasis on accuracy and timely reporting. Tertiary qualification preferred alongside matric completion.

Responsibilities

• Print bank statements and update the Daily Cash Flow on Dropbox.
• Email daily to Debtors with Debtors receipts for the previous day.
• Process Pastel allocations for receipts and advise Debtors when posted.
• Prepare cashflow statements using prior day data.
• Print payment requests and coordinate payment runs (Tue/Fri).
• Load payments on the FNB Portal and reconcile bank entries.
• Submit payment packs via Hellosign for sign-off and release.
• Ensure receipts reflect on bank and Pastel reconciliations (ZAR and USD).
• Process month-end invoices and manage end-of-month cash requirements.
• Handle intercompany recharges and month-end journals in Pastel.
• Reconcile bank statements against transactions and maintain proper GL allocations.
