About the Role
They are responsible for creating instructional materials for training – both printed and online library of training resources. To ensure effective knowledge transfer, they work with department heads to identify specific needs and then seek or develop pertinent products.
Responsibilities
Training administration (Ensuring compliance with learner registrations, credit/result uploads onto the Merseta system)
Capturing and maintaining the LMS system (The client has an internal system, but they are happy to adopt the LMS system of the SDF)
Compilation and coordination of input data to the payroll (for all learners)
Compile, check, and audit moderation and assessment files for all POE’s
Tracking of learner progress
Management of learnership/apprenticeship programmes (Ensuring compliance with learner registrations, credit/result uploads onto the Merseta system)
Requirements
Experience, Qualifications and Key Skills
Qualifications
Grade 12
Any training-related qualification.
Experience
2-3 years experience in the training environment
Automotive industry experience will be beneficial
Key Skills
Full understanding of the training landscape
Knowledge of the automotive industry qualifications (Progression of skill level 1-5)
Training of Shop Stewards (to better understand the training landscape and Skills Development Process)
