The vacancy is open to applicants with a minimum of 2 years' work experience.
Applicants are not required to have relevant prior experience; however, some understanding of skills development processes will be beneficial.
The applicant will take on minor responsibilities and be trained to ultimately achieve competence in the following areas:
Basic roles & responsibilities:
- Payroll: Compiling Time & Attendance registers and signatures for the finance department, tracking and recording replacement & changes of students, providing clients with feedback pertaining to their students for client payroll.
- Oversee and assist with payroll queries.
Recruitment:
- Track the replacement of terminated learners and co-ordinate with the recruiter to implement the best possible learner for the vacancy.
- Quality check all applicant documentation.
Administration:
- Ensure the learner data is always accurate and up to date.
- Compile learner packs and implement document storage practices.
- Ensure client folders are up to date and that all relevant documents are uploaded and complete.
- Co-ordinate verification packs to ensure all documents are available and correct for audits.
Printing & Shipments:
- Print and compile learner packs and related training documentation.
- Co-ordinate shipping of documents.
Registrations:
- Ensure registration of learners with the relevant SETA's and on company systems.
- Provide documents required for Grants to the relevant departments.
- Maintain records of learner progress throughout the learning lifecycle.
Data Collection & Administration:
- Collect data from Outsourced Skills Providers.
- Manage and administer document packs, schedules, and registers.
Learner Management:
- Identify, analyze, and resolve learner issues.
- Coordinate, compile, and oversee attendance registers and replacements.
- Manage learner performance and disciplinary processes.
Administration of Learner Progress:
- Administer client feedback reports and deadlines.
- Track attendance and learner issues and coordinate with the relevant department for resolution.
- Manage collection of all Portfolios of Evidence for assessment and verification purposes.
- Administer learner certification.
Induction:
- Induct learners on specific contract requirements and allocated interventions.
