Introduction

We have a vacancy for a junior coffee machine technician to be filled urgently.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Assist the technician
• Repair coffee machines
• Manage monthly deliveries of client consumables
• Perform monthly machine services at client sites
• Operate, refill, clean, and maintain machines
• Report daily tasks
• Be technology proficient (computer literate, smartphone usage, loading information onto an ERP system)
• Must have a valid South African driver’s license
• Have knowledge of the coffee industry

Desired Experience & Qualifications

• Grade 12 or equivalent
• N2 qualification or equivalent within the electrical space
• Minimum of 3 years experience working with table-top and free-standing coffee machines
• A code 10 driver’s license is preferred; it can be obtained later if necessary
• Basic understanding of electrical components and their workings
• Strong communication skills in English (written and verbal)
• Ability to work independently
• Experience working in high-pressure environments
• Experience dealing with customers face-to-face is advantageous
• Clear criminal record
