The Junior Technical Writer supports the creation and maintenance of technical documentation by assisting in drafting, editing, and organizing content under the guidance of senior staff. This entry-level role provides an opportunity to develop technical communication skills while working closely with subject matter experts and project teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in drafting and formatting user manuals, operating procedures, and technical documentation.
  • Work with senior writers and technical staff to gather, clarify, and verify technical information.
  • Support the review and editing process to ensure clarity, accuracy, and consistency.
  • Help maintain document templates and follow established style guides and documentation standards.
  • Organize and archive technical documents in document management systems.
  • Track document updates and version history under supervision.
  • Participate in document quality checks to ensure compliance with internal standards.
  • Assist with preparing visual aids such as diagrams, flowcharts, and tables as needed.
  • Respond to basic documentation-related requests from internal teams.
  • Maintain confidentiality and accuracy of sensitive or proprietary information.
