Our client, a national institution, is seeking to appoint a dynamic Junior Student Advisor to their Cape Town (CBD area) based sales team.

Please note:

1. Sales experience (preferably in a service industry) is a pre-requisite - > 1 year.

2. The ability to meet and exceed sales targets is non negotiable.

3. Equity appointment - equity candidates invited to apply for this role.

Requirements:

  • 3-Year Diploma / bachelor’s degree (NQF Level 7) in Business, Marketing, Public Relations, Communication, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 1 year of sales experience
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to engage with students, parents, and stakeholders.
  • Valid driver’s license and own vehicle (essential).

Responsibilities:

Presentation Target

  • Secure and complete presentations at targeted schools.
  • Distribute marketing materials such as pamphlets, brochures, and interest cards to students.
  • Represent the brand at career expos.
  • Facilitate stakeholder events.
  • Achieve monthly booking and presentation targets as per school priority.

Database Collection

  • Meet the monthly target for school database collection as per priority targets.

Interview Target

  • Make sufficient database calls to prospective students to schedule interviews and meet daily/weekly targets.
  • Follow up on online applications by tracing proof of payments before scheduling appointments.
  • Respond to online and telephonic inquiries within 24 hours.
  • Conduct interviews adhering to the script while building rapport with students (and parents if present).
  • Achieve individual interview targets (weekly, monthly, and annually).

Application Target

  • Secure applications during interviews by assisting students with the online application process.
  • Follow up with unpaid online applications to secure payment.
  • Conduct weekly INA (Interviews Not Applied) calls to convert interviews into applications.
  • Achieve individual application targets (weekly, monthly, and annually).
  • Drive applications to accept offers of admission and pay pre-registration fees.

Registration Target

  • Achieve new student registration targets.

Administration and Reporting

  • Update call reports and Interview Booking Tracker (IBT) daily.
  • Ensure interview forms are completed accurately.
  • Ensure applications are submitted with correctly certified supporting documentation for confirmation.
  • Update calling outcomes on STASY and TMR (Total Marketing Report) as required.
