We are seeking a Junior Structural Engineer / Technician (Civils) for a permanent vacancy based in Durbanville, Western Cape.

Applicants are required to meet the following criteria:

1. Eng/B.Tech/NDip Civil Engineering / Construction with at least 2 years related experience
2. Must have worked on Prokon and AutoCad systems
3. Good problem-solving ability and technical skills
4. Valid drivers and own transport
5. Fluency in both English and Afrikaans
6. Must have the desire to be a Pr.Eng – assistance given for this goal
7. Able to learn quickly
8. Good work ethic and sober habits
9. Based in WC Northern Suburbs

The successful applicant would be responsible for, but not limited to:

1. Design, draw, plan and oversee manufacture and installation of structural elements
2. Designing structural elements for residential and commercial buildings
3. Calculate loads and stress
4. Quotations and costs of projects
5. Conduct site inspections and liaise with site staff

Salary: R30 000 + per month dependent on experience
