Job summary

Network Recruitment is seeking a detail‑oriented Database Developer to design, test and optimize SQL queries and data models in Pretoria. You will collaborate with software teams to integrate databases with business applications and build SSRS reports and Power BI data solutions.

The role focuses on data quality, security and documentation, with opportunities to learn emerging database technologies and contribute across technical and business teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required or equivalent in CS/IT/Math.
• Basic understanding of SQL and relational databases.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• High attention to detail with focus on data quality.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to learn quickly from senior team members.
• Exposure to SSRS and Power BI is beneficial.
• Relevant SQL/database certifications are advantageous but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Develop, test, and optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, and database objects.

Key Responsibilities

Minimum Requirements
