Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of Java development experience.
• Education: Degree in CS/IT or related field, or 3+ years of commercial software development experience.
• Experience with databases and web technologies is advantageous.
• Proficient in Java, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and SQL.
• Familiar with ORM technologies such as Hibernate or EJB3.
• Experience with servlet containers like Tomcat/GlassFish/Jetty.
• Experience using Java IDEs such as IntelliJ, Eclipse, or NetBeans.

Responsibilities

• Build scalable, robust, and maintainable solutions using OO design and design patterns.

Job Experience and Skills Required

• Education: Relevant Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field OR a minimum of 3 years' commercial software development experience
• Experience:
• Minimum 1 year of Java development experience
• Exposure to software development within a commercial or team environment
• Experience working with databases and web technologies advantageous
• Technical Skills:
• Java programming and object-oriented development
• HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
• SQL and relational database concepts
• Practical experience with databases such as MySQL, Oracle, or SQL Server
• Exposure to Object Relational Mapping technologies such as Hibernate or EJB3
• Familiarity with Java servlet containers such as Tomcat, GlassFish, or Jetty
• Experience using Java IDEs such as IntelliJ, Eclipse, or NetBeans
• Advantageous:
• Exposure to version control systems and software development lifecycle processes
• Linux exposure (Ubuntu, CentOS, Debian, RHEL, or similar)
• Understanding of networking, Internet, and LAN/WAN technologies
