Job summary

ATS Client in Johannesburg invites an enthusiastic Electronic Engineering/Computer Science hybrid candidate to join our forward‑thinking R&D team. You will design, test, and improve both software and hardware solutions while gaining hands‑on experience across disciplines.

You will work with senior engineers, document technical work, and learn new technologies in a collaborative, high‑performance environment that values curiosity and problem solving.

Qualifications

  • Degree in Electronic Engineering, or a combination of Computer Science and Engineering.
  • Exposure to C or C++ programming.
  • Basic experience working with Linux-based systems.
  • Understanding of system-level development and hardware/software integration.
  • Familiarity with databases and web-based technologies is advantageous.
  • Ability to interpret electrical schematics and technical diagrams.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate across teams.
  • Proficiency in general computer applications and documentation tools.
  • Self-motivated with strong problem-solving ability.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt in a technical environment.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Own reliable transport.

Responsibilities
