The role involves assisting with software design, coding, and testing. Candidates should familiarize themselves with Webtonic’s code bases and technologies, gather user data, and respond to developer requests. A good knowledge of basic programming languages, quick learning of new technologies, and teamwork skills are essential for growth in this rapidly changing environment.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree/Diploma in Computer Science or related field
• Valid code B driver’s license and own/public transport
• South African citizenship or valid work permit

Knowledge and Skills:

• Knowledge of languages including C#, Java, PHP, Angular, React, Typescript, JavaScript, HTML5
• 1-3 years’ web development experience
• Basic programming skills
• Knowledge of databases and operating systems
• Ability to learn new technologies quickly
• Teamwork and attention to detail
• Experience with GIT version control
• Understanding of UI & modern web standards
• Knowledge of computer systems and latest tech
• Basic eCommerce knowledge (advantageous)
• Linux experience (advantageous)
