Responsibilities
Financial Administration
  • Ensure effective financial administration according to Nando’s policies daily
  • Assist in controlling expenditure and achieving gross profit margins (stock control, waste management, pilferage, etc.)
  • Implement corrective actions to improve business performance indicators (sales, gross profit, customer count, etc.)
  • Monitor performance against set daily targets
Operational Management
  • Manage stock control daily
  • Perform compliance checks related to Health & Safety, maintenance, hygiene, and escalate issues
  • Assist in developing corrective action plans for audit improvements
  • Ensure compliance with operational standards
People Management
  • Assist in weekly staff rostering and adherence to procedures
  • Support recruitment, induction, and training of staff
  • Maintain attendance records
  • Assist in disciplinary procedures and performance management
  • Ensure ongoing staff training and development
Marketing Management
  • Assist in executing marketing campaigns and initiatives
  • Respond to customer complaints per policies
  • Develop corrective actions based on mystery shopper reports
  • Support local marketing efforts to boost sales and customer base
  • Act as Restaurant Manager in their absence
