Minimum Requirements

Duties and Responsibilities
Financial Management
  • Ensure accurate and effective financial administration according to Nando’s policies daily
  • Assist in controlling expenditure and achieving gross profit margins (stock control, waste management, pilferage, etc.)
  • Help implement corrective actions to improve business performance indicators (Sales, Gross Profit, Customer Count, etc.)
  • Monitor performance against daily targets (Turnover, Ticket Average, Customer Count)
Operational Management
  • Manage stock control daily
  • Perform daily health & safety, maintenance, cleaning, and hygiene checks, escalating issues as needed
  • Assist in developing corrective action plans for audit improvements
  • Ensure compliance with Nando’s operational standards
People Management
  • Assist in weekly staff rostering and adherence to procedures
  • Support recruitment, induction, and ongoing training of staff
  • Manage attendance records
  • Assist in disciplinary processes and performance feedback
  • Ensure staff are trained and compliant with procedures
Marketing Management
  • Support communication and execution of marketing campaigns
  • Handle customer complaints per policies
  • Assist in improving mystery shopper scores
  • Help implement local marketing initiatives
  • Cover Restaurant Manager duties in their absence
