Junior Researcher: Cultural Heritage - Robben Island

A well-established company is seeking to appoint a Junior Researcher: Cultural Heritage (12 month fixed term contract).

The purpose of the job is to perform research related to Robben Island's history and context and communicate research findings through seminars, conferences, and publications.

Qualification

• Bachelor's degree or Advanced Diploma (NQF 7) with specialization in either social study, History, or Political Science.
• Post Graduate Diploma in Museums and Heritage Studies or Records Management will be advantageous.

Experience

• Minimum of 3 years' experience in the Research Field.
• Fluency in 2 official languages.
• Proficient in MS Office.
• Broad understanding of South Africa's political history.
