• Gestion efficace des activités de recherche, y compris l'utilisation et la gestion des ressources.
• Assurer le bon déroulement des projets de recherche en conformité avec les normes établies.
• Promouvoir les services de l'agrométéorologie auprès des acteurs concernés.

Job description

• Agricultural research and technology development in a team context or individually under guidance.
• Good planning and management of research activities, including aspects such as effective use of facilities and resources, problem solving and liaison with experts.
• Effective handling of personnel regarding utilization, training and evaluation as well as maintaining good working relations within the team.
• Proper management of budgets in compliance with financial policies / procedures to ensure that projects are managed in a cost-effective and proactive manner.
• Ensuring the successful completion of research projects in compliance with set standards.
• Compliance with Occupational Health & Safety regulations and procedures.
• Marketing and promoting Agrometeorology services / products to relevant role-players.
• Involvement in campus activities such as research committees, section meetings and seminars.
