Joining Our Team as a Junior Quality Assurance Analyst

As a Junior Quality Assurance Analyst, you won't simply be testing software; you'll be an integral part of our mission to deliver excellence. You'll collaborate with our software engineering teams, working hand-in-hand to identify, document, and rectify any issues that may arise during the development process. Your meticulous attention to detail will help us deliver products that meet the highest standards.

You will have the opportunity to engage with customers, understanding their needs and translating them into rigorous test cases. Your efforts will play a crucial role in guaranteeing the reliability of our software solutions as we strive to provide fast, dependable Internet access across Africa, collaborating with ISPs such as MWEB, Vox, Cybersmart, and Frogfoot.


As a member of our team, you'll gain experience in testing a wide range of software technologies, from Mobile Apps to GIS Mapping, Network Integration, Hardware Provisioning, and Mobile Money payment platforms. Job Description

  • Perform comprehensive software and user interface testing on SOLID software
  • Translate functional and business requirement specifications into testable quality assurance documents, test plans and test cases
  • Test SOLID software for scalability, robustness and maintainability
  • Identify interactivity and usability flaws within the SOLID user interfaces
  • Identify functional defects and business rule deviations within SOLID
  • Work together with our experienced software development team using software development lifecycle (SDLC) tools and methodologies, including bug tracking and quality assurance management software
  • Assist with software build, merge and release control processes
  • Document and produce software user guides

Desired Skills and Expertise

  • As a Quality Assurance Analyst, we expect you to have either a relevant degree or a minimum of three years’ experience
  • We find that quite often an open frame of mind or a logical thinker usually does well to fit into the team
