Job summary

Boardroom Appointments is seeking a motivated Junior Project Manager to support project delivery teams in Queenstown, Eastern Cape. You will assist senior project managers in planning, executing, and monitoring projects to gain hands-on experience across PM disciplines.

Ideal candidate is eager to learn, detail-oriented, and organized, with a Bachelor's degree and 1–3 years' experience. This role offers mentorship, exposure to various project types, and a pathway to grow within the organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, or a related field.
• 1-3 years of experience in a project support or junior project management role.
• Familiarity with project management principles and methodologies.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Eagerness to learn.

Responsibilities

• Assist senior project managers in developing project plans, schedules, and budgets.
• Support the tracking of project progress, identifying deviations, and reporting status updates.
• Help coordinate project team meetings and document action items and decisions.
• Manage project documentation and maintain organized project files.
• Assist in identifying and tracking project risks and issues.
• Support the procurement of project resources and manage vendor communications as directed.
