We are hiring a Junior Project Manager

Our mission is to streamline and accelerate the adoption of open source across the global enterprise technology market. Our Project Managers are responsible for ensuring project success by owning, driving, communicating, and engaging all stakeholders with integrity and accountability.

This role involves managing projects with complex and evolving software technologies, focusing on customer and partner satisfaction through exceptional stakeholder engagement.

Responsibilities include:
  1. Ensuring projects are delivered on schedule, within scope, budget, and resources.
  2. Supporting the identification and mitigation of technical and project risks and issues.
  3. Maintaining strong customer focus and collaborating with stakeholders for successful outcomes.
  4. Conducting regular status meetings and business reviews with clients.
  5. Supporting the delivery schedule of critical third-party deliverables.
  6. Advocating for appropriate technologies from Canonical's portfolio to customers.
Candidate Profile:
  • Strong academic record in science, software engineering, or information technology.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Solution-oriented mindset with leadership skills demonstrated in academic or extracurricular activities.
  • Experience or passion for technology, personal projects, or initiatives.
  • Professional approach, negotiation skills, and ability to 'make things happen.'
  • Ability to respectfully communicate, share feedback, and work in a multicultural environment.
  • Willingness to travel internationally twice a year for company events.
