We are looking for a Junior Product Manager based at our Head Office in Denver.

About the role

Under the supervision of the Senior Product Manager, the incumbent will formulate tactical direction to achieve and maintain a profitable product portfolio aligned with company policies and long-term plans.

The Junior Product Manager will be responsible for the full accountability of their assigned product portfolio, ensuring business success.

1. Manage stock levels within company guidelines.
2. Actively manage forecasts in conjunction with Sales.
3. Continuously update the ERP system.
4. Develop and update product roadmaps.
5. Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
6. Review product performance, including sales, failures, and opportunities, providing guidance accordingly.
7. Provide training materials for Fluidra Pro Academy as needed.
8. Conduct training sessions for internal and external customers on portfolio products.
9. Identify potential products through market research and generate product requirements.
10. Review pricing, margins, and explore opportunities to improve revenue and profitability.

Ongoing communication with Sales, Distribution, and Manufacturing departments will be essential.

About You

• Completed National Senior Certificate / Matric / Grade 12 Certificate.
• A relevant tertiary qualification in product management, sales, or marketing is advantageous.
• At least 5 years of post-matriculation study and/or work experience, with a minimum of 3 years in product management or similar roles.
• Previous experience in FMCG or durable consumer goods, with a good understanding of product lifecycle practices, is preferred.
• Focused on product management with a good technical understanding of products.
• Driven, action-oriented, and a good communicator with excellent oral, written, and presentation skills.
• Strong business acumen, capable of analyzing products and market research, and presenting findings effectively.
• Excellent interpersonal skills to advocate initiatives internally and externally, including with executive management.
• Own reliable transport in good condition, as visits to branches or customers may be required.
