ROLE SUMMARY :

To adopt a holistic view of students in their care, promoting the general progress and well-being of individuals and of any class or group assigned to them.

To create a positive learning environment and motivate students to achieve their full potential.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES :
  1. Plan, prepare, and present interesting and engaging lessons.
  2. Establish a nurturing teaching environment that promotes engaged learning.
  3. Behave professionally concerning punctuality, behaviour, standards of work, and students' homework.
  4. Evaluate, reflect on, and refine teaching practices.
  5. Engage in continuous professional development, both personal and school-wide.
  6. Teach extra lessons when required, on two afternoons per week.
  7. Assist with the co-curricular programme.
  8. Produce high-standard resources for students.
  9. Show loyalty to all facets of Reddam House.
  10. Attend all special occasions at the discretion of the relevant Head.
  11. Set and mark exams and other student evaluations.
  12. Write report comments.

  • Proven track record of teaching.
  • Previous experience with the IEB Programme.
