Junior Phlebotomist / Staff Nurse required in Soweto.

The successful candidate will be primarily responsible for drawing blood samples from patients in and around Soweto, ensuring high-quality sample collection in line with healthcare standards and protocols.

This role is ideal for a recently qualified healthcare professional with phlebotomy experience or training, who is looking to gain practical experience in a patient-focused, community-based environment.

Minimum Requirements:

• Relevant healthcare qualification (e.g., Nursing, Phlebotomy certification, or equivalent).
• Registered with relevant healthcare professional council.
• Prior experience in venipuncture or blood sample collection (including clinical training).
• Ability to travel to multiple locations in and around Soweto.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Reliable, professional, and patient-focused.
• Must be comfortable working independently in the field.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Perform safe and efficient blood draws from patients at various locations.
• Label, store, and transport samples according to protocol.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
• Ensure high standards of hygiene and infection control.
• Liaise professionally with patients and support staff.
• Report any issues or incidents to the supervising team promptly.
• Assist with other basic clinical or administrative tasks when required.
