Red Ember Recruitment (PTY) Ltd in Durban seeks a Junior Wage Administrator to join our client’s team. Based in Durban, the role covers end-to-end wage payroll administration and ensuring timely payments in compliance with SLAs and legislation.

Responsibilities include processing appointments, promotions, terminations, maintaining payroll data, answering payroll queries, and producing monthly wage cost reports for finance.

Qualifications

• Matric and payroll-related qualification required.
• 1–3 years’ payroll administration experience.
• Practical Payroll MIS experience in a customer-oriented environment.
• Payroll and wage management experience; Time & Attendance familiarity.
• Knowledge of PaySpace and Microsoft D365 modules advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Capture and process appointments, promotions, demotions, and terminations accurately and timeously.
• Manage, maintain, and update payroll-related data.
• Handle all employee payroll, biographical, and pay-related queries.
• Ensure Payroll and Time & Attendance tasks are completed within timeframes.
• Prepare and submit payroll reports and wage cost reports for finance.
