Overview

Our is seeking to employ a Junior Operations Clerk (Logistics), to their team based in Wells Estate, Port Elizabeth.

Requirements
  • Grade 12 / Matric certificate.
  • Experience in logistics, transport, or warehouse operations (advantageous).
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (especially Excel and Outlook).
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • Familiarity with dispatch systems or logistics software (preferred).
Responsibilities
  • Schedule and dispatch Drivers for deliveries, collections, and transport routes.
  • Allocate General Workers for loading, offloading, packing, and warehouse duties.
  • Monitor vehicle availability, driver rosters, and shift rotations.
  • Maintain accurate records of job assignments, timekeeping, and attendance.
  • Communicate with drivers and workers to confirm instructions and resolve issues.
  • Assist in tracking delivery progress and updating operational dashboards.
  • Liaise with warehouse and transport teams to anticipate staffing needs.
  • Ensure compliance with safety protocols, labor regulations, and company standards.
  • Provide general administrative support including filing, data entry, and reporting.
