Job Title: Junior OHS / SHEQ Officer

My client, a National Company, is seeking a Junior OHS / SHEQ Officer to be based at their branch in Midrand, Gauteng.

Requirements:

1. Matric and relevant additional qualifications.
2. Qualifications in Nosa and OHS Act.
3. Knowledge of Health and Safety aspects.
4. Understanding of financials and profit margins.
5. Experience in internal and external sales.
6. Management experience of subordinate staff (beneficial).
7. Ability to conduct OHS Act compliance surveys, investigations, and implementation.
8. Experience in risk assessments, evacuation drills, and compiling site drawings.
9. Good physical health for site surveys and audits.
10. Goal-driven with self-discipline to visit clients independently.
11. Willingness to travel locally and nationally.
12. Valid driver’s license and own reliable vehicle.
13. Minimum 1-year experience with Pastel or similar programs.
14. Computer literacy in MS Word, Office, Excel, and Outlook.
15. Basic knowledge of project management.
16. Excellent communication skills to liaise with all management levels.
