Position Overview

We are looking for a highly motivated Mechanical Engineer to contribute to our engineering department.

The ideal candidate will have a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or mechatronics engineering from a recognised South African university.

This role involves responsibilities such as mechanical design, preventive maintenance, process fault finding, and process improvement.

Proficiency in AutoCAD and solid modelling software is essential.

Duties & Responsibilities

1. Collaborate with senior engineers to develop and implement mechanical designs for new projects or product enhancements.
2. Conduct preventive maintenance activities to ensure equipment reliability and longevity.
3. Perform process fault finding to troubleshoot manufacturing issues.
4. Propose and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and productivity.
5. Prepare technical documentation, including drawings, specifications, and reports.
6. Work closely with cross-functional teams to achieve project goals.

Desired Experience & Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or Mechatronics Engineering from a recognized South African university.
• Strong understanding of mechanical engineering principles.
• Excellent AutoCAD skills and proficiency in solid modelling software.
• Ability to analyze and solve complex technical problems.
