Description Our client operating in the Wholesale & Retail Industry is currently looking to employ a Junior Marketing Coordinator, to be based in Port Elizabeth. Applicants must be prepared to travel within the Eastern Cape and occasionally out of the province.
Requirements:
Matric / Grade 12.
Experience in customer centric industries.
FMCG experience will be advantageous.
Good understanding of Marketing (to low-medium end market).
Valid driver’s license and own transport essential.
Willingness to travel within the Eastern Cape to visit members, and occasionally out of the province.
Solid understanding of B2B and B2C concepts.
Good understanding of marketing principles, flyers, catalogues, and events organizing.
Purpose of Position:
To manage and implement Company and Divisional strategic objectives within a portfolio of members.
To build better Businesses and market share by maximizing profitability through effective relationship building, planning, developing and implementing marketing strategies, discovering new and unique marketing initiatives that build brand presence in the marketplace.

Develop Company Brand by:
Ensure that all interactions with members, suppliers and every department in the Company are conducted with the level of discipline and excellence expected in all business dealings.
Participate and contribute to both direct and indirect areas of responsibility in terms of every product and service that is offered to members and suppliers, increasing the division’s income.
Remain mindful and focused on achieving and maintaining the company’s Vision, Mission, and high standards of professional conduct to all stakeholders.
Communicate, liaise, and negotiate internally and externally using appropriate methods to facilitate the development of profitable business and sustainable relationships.
Assisting the National Marketing team in developing & promoting the products.
Providing guidance & added value to our members in the 6 P’s of Marketing (product, price, promotion, place, positioning, people) as part of the “Marketing Management Services” offered.
