We help business leaders attract quality prospects and grow revenue using the inbound marketing methodology.

Overview

We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Junior Marketing Assistant & PA to join our small, but busy marketing team.

You will play a key support role across various digital marketing and admin tasks, helping to keep projects moving and communication flowing.

This role is ideal for someone who is organised, eager to learn, and thrives in a fast-paced, multi-project environment.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Admin & Coordination
  • General personal assistance and admin support
  • Answering and managing the office phone
  • Liaising with suppliers (developers, copywriters, printers, etc.)
  • Updating and maintaining Trello boards
  • Assisting with leads and basic admin tasks
  • Scheduling meetings, taking minutes and tracking deadlines
  • Prepare and serve refreshments for meetings / events
  • Manage office supplies & community projects
  1. Marketing Support
  • Scheduling social media posts
  • Basic graphic design using Canva or similar tools
  • Assisting with content calendars and project plans
  • Supporting community management on social platforms
  • Assisting with strategy documents and client presentations (PowerPoint)
  • Conduct research and compile data as needed
  1. Content & Communication
  • Proofreading copy and content
  • Supporting the content team with ad hoc tasks
  • Communicating with internal teams and external suppliers
Requirements
  • 1+ year experience in a similar role in a marketing agency, corporate office, or relevant industry
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills (English first language preferred)
  • Strong admin, organisational, and coordination skills
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Basic design knowledge (Canva or similar tools)
  • Tech-savvy and comfortable using task / project management tools (like Trello, Slack, Google Sheets, etc.)
  • Ability to work independently and multitask across projects
  • Reliable, proactive, and a team player
  • Discretion and confidentiality are essential
  • Must stay close to Dainfern
Nice To Have
  • Interest in marketing and design
  • Familiar with Google properties
  • Experience with social media scheduling and / or reporting tools
  • Any experience on WordPress / Wix and / or email CRM tools is a plus

Please Note: This is a hybrid role with the office based in Dainfern, Johannesburg, and is a contract position to start.
