Junior Legal Assistant

We're Hiring: Junior Legal Assistant R11 per month | Centurion (Lyttelton)

Key Responsibilities:

1. Assist with the preparation, formatting, and filing of legal documents
2. Maintain and update legal files, correspondence, and records
3. Liaise with clients, courts, and third parties as required
4. Support the legal team with compliance tracking, reporting, and document reviews
5. Perform general administrative duties including scanning, printing, and data entry
6. Ensure confidentiality and professionalism at all times

Minimum Requirements:

1. Matric (essential)
2. Relevant legal/admin diploma or certificate (advantageous)
3. Minimum 1 year of experience in a legal or compliance support role (can include internships)
4. Strong understanding of legal processes and documentation
5. Excellent administrative, organisational, and communication skills
6. Attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving
7. Computer literacy (MS Office, especially Word and Excel)
8. Must be based in Gauteng and able to work in-office in Centurion
