Job Description

Absa Home Loans is offering a learnership opportunity for talented, enthusiastic young individuals passionate about utilizing technology to empower customers. This one-year program provides on-the-job exposure across all contact points with the Bank’s customers. As a learner, you will demonstrate:

• Strong customer service skills and excellent problem-solving abilities
• Organisational skills, attention to detail, and follow-up emphasis
• Ability to work well in a team, listen, and communicate effectively
• Professionalism and courteousness, working well under pressure
• A self-starter with a hands-on mentality

The programme will give exposure to the Home Loans Sales and Service Enablement areas over 12 months. Successful candidates must commit to completing all academic modules and on-the-job training.

Essential Requirements

• Age between 18-30 years
• Detailed CV with contacts and references
• Copies of certificates, ID, and proof of address
• South African citizen or permanent resident
• Degree or equivalent NQF level 7 qualification
• Proficient in English
• Not employed or registered with another learnership/internship at application time
• Not currently studying or registered with any learning institution
• Computer literate
• Team player and self-motivated
• Flexible and willing to learn and work

Duration & Stipend

This is a 12-month learnership programme. Candidates must be available for the full duration to graduate. Successful candidates will receive a monthly stipend.
