Interwaste, a leader in waste management solutions across Southern Africa, is seeking a seasoned Junior Key Accounts Manager to join our team at the East London Branch. Role Overview

Developing a solid and trusting relationship between major key clients and company. Developing a complete understanding of key account needs. Implements and monitors negotiated contracts on a national and local level. Liaises with marketing and sales departments to co-ordinate the implementation of contracts. Establishes contact with industry policymakers and influencers. Participates and contributes to company pricing and activity policy through a market intelligence guide.

Key Responsibilities

Customer Liaison

  • Liaise between customers and cross-functional internal teams to ensure the timely and successful delivery of our solutions according to customer needs.
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders across multiple client organizations to reach higher revenue targets.
  • Analyse industry trends and provide valuable insights and recommendations to customers.
  • Negotiating variations in price, delivery and specifications.
  • Advice and service to customers on “one stop” service provision and facilitating this process.
  • Conduct regular business reviews to assess satisfaction levels and present new solutions.
  • Gaining a clear understanding of customers and businesses requirements.
  • Feeding future trends back to management.
  • Understand customer’s objectives, and industry trends to identify and capitalize on growth opportunities.

Sales

  • Acquisition of new business and adhoc work in line with sales strategies.
  • Meeting sales revenue targets and performance measures monthly.
  • Monthly revenue and activity reports.
  • Develop and manage a viable pipeline in line with revenue targets.
  • Pricing and profitability assessment of new and existing contracts.
  • All Quotations will be generated on existing systems.
  • Contract negotiations.
  • Implementing annual price increases.
  • Tender submissions.
  • Contract renewals.

Communication and Feedback

  • Build and maintain strong client relationship with the client.
  • Regular communication with the client.
  • Understand and manage the needs of the client.

Desired Experience & Qualification

  • 3 – 5 Years Sales Experience
  • 3-5 Years experience in waste management or related industry will be advantageous
  • Tertiary education would be advantageous
  • Excellent Proficiency ability in Microsoft Office
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Own transport and flexibility to travel
