Job summary

Coronation Fund Managers in Cape Town seeks a trainee for the Coronation Catapult Programme to gain exposure in investment research. You will receive structured learning, mentorship and on-the-job support to develop into a Research Analyst.

The role includes assisting analysts, attending meetings, preparing presentations and building financial models while developing critical thinking and business communication skills.

Qualifications

• BCom or BBus Sci or CFA or Act Sci or Engineering degree.
• Any degree majoring in accounting, investments, finance, economics or mathematics.

Responsibilities

• Assisting analysts with research projects across various sectors.
• Attend meetings with management / Investment Research teams.
• Administrative work supporting the research process.
• Preparation of presentations for report-backs and roadshows.
• Assisting analysts with spreadsheet models and running company analyses.
• Assisting analysts with various ad hoc projects.
