RPO Recruitment is actively sourcing a Junior Inventory Manager / Stock Controller to join our clients established team in Tongaat KZN. This role is ideal for a handson professional with a background in inventory or stock control particularly within the manufacturing or steel packaging industry. Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and monitor inventory levels ensuring accurate stock records.
  • Oversee receiving storage and dispatch processes in line with WMS procedures.
  • Perform regular stock counts and resolve discrepancies efficiently.
  • Collaborate with production and procurement to align stock with operational needs.
  • Generate and analyze inventory reports presenting actionable insights to management.
  • Implement and maintain inventory control systems and best practices.
  • Ensure adherence to health safety and compliance regulations.

Requirements

  • Bachelors degree in Supply Chain Management Logistics Business Administration or a related field (preferred).
  • 3 years experience in inventory management or stock control ideally in manufacturing or steel packaging environments.
  • Familiarity with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) is highly advantageous.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret inventory trends and data.
  • Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
  • Effective communicator with strong interpersonal skills for crossfunctional collaboration.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel Word PowerPoint) and inventory software tools.
