Job description

Are you ready to kickstart your career in IT infrastructure? Weâ€re looking for a Junior Infrastructure Engineer to join our Cape Town-based team! This is an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience in maintaining and supporting the core IT infrastructure of a dynamic, fast-paced organization.

Responsibilities include:

  • Network support
  • Electronic Point of Sale (EPOS) device support
  • In-house application support (FRS)
  • Desktop and user support
  • Peripheral hardware and printers maintenance
  • IT infrastructure support

Additional duties:

  • Ensure availability and capacity of IT equipment, networks, and systems
  • Manage warehouse IT equipment and support issues
  • Test and update EPOS (TourPos) applications and devices
  • Collaborate with PayBay (payment provider) for software releases and repairs
  • Maintain relationships with internal teams during software updates
  • Provide technical support and training for EPOS and applications
  • Manage support tickets and ensure system maintenance

Qualifications:

  • Relevant IT certification or diploma (advantageous)
  • ITIL and Microsoft certifications (MS 365, MCSE, MCSA, Cybersecurity, Azure fundamentals) or A+, N+ qualifications
