About the Role

Our client, a progressive technology firm, is looking for an enthusiastic Junior Information Security Analyst to join their dedicated security team in Soweto, Gauteng . This internship program is designed for individuals passionate about cybersecurity who are eager to learn and develop their skills in a real-world environment. You will support the senior security team in monitoring security alerts, assisting with vulnerability assessments, and contributing to security documentation. This role requires full-time commitment on-site.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in monitoring security alerts and events from various security systems.

Requirements

• Familiarity with operating systems (Windows, Linux) and network basics.
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Located in or able to commute to Soweto daily for the duration of the internship.
