Responsibilities
- Act as liaison between branch and head office level. Ensure HR head office is always updated on all HR related matters.
- Escalate all HR related issues to HR head office in a timely manner.
- Obtain quality information of new employees and ensure all new employees are loaded on the clocking system.
- Ensure the timely submission of new starter packs to head office.
- Maintain timekeeping for all staff and provide payroll/clocking clerks with accurate and timely clocking information.
- Conduct regular maintenance of probation reviews.
- Coordinate with head office to prepare notifications for hearings when required.
- Assist management with disciplinary issues such as warnings, counselling sessions, and grievances, with guidance from head office.
- Prepare CCMA bundles, organize witnesses, and handle administration for CCMA proceedings.
- Ensure EE meetings are conducted and files are maintained at each branch.
- Ensure the branch complies with Employment Equity requirements.
- Coordinate leave scheduling.
- Conduct audits on employee files and general information on an ad hoc basis.
- Obtain sign-off on job profiling for all staff and management in a timely manner.
- Promote communication and guidance with staff and management to minimize conflict and unrest in the workplace.
- Secure timely sign-off on all documentation and submit to head office HR promptly.
- Collect leave forms and sick notes and forward them promptly to payroll/clocking clerks.
