ABOUT THE ROLE

We currently have an exciting opportunity as a Junior Health and Safety Manager to predominantly work within their Facades division, mainly working on large-scale residential projects.

You’ll be reporting directly to the H&S Director and working in partnership on projects around London. You’ll be in control of managing your own time / diary and will be based onsite 4 days per week and spend 1 day working from their office in Basildon, Essex.

This is a fantastic opportunity to work for a growing contractor providing fantastic career opportunities. This role would suit somebody with the desire to enhance their knowledge of the industry and who wants to progress their career later down the line. Your duties will include:

  • Helping with Pre-construction identifying safety requirements
  • Preparing safety procedures at pre-construction
  • Delegating processes to Project Managers
  • Preparing RAMS and Safety documents
  • Overseeing Sub-Contractors and Quality
  • Client Meetings
  • Working alongside H&S Director

REQUIREMENTS

IOSH, NEBSOH OR H&S Qualification are essential for this role.

My client is open to any background but ideally wants at least 1 years’ experience in construction so someone who has progressed from the tools and into Site Management with good H&S understanding and management skills, will be preferred.

Most importantly the candidate for this role must be trustworthy, reliable, conscientious and keen to progress your career further. You will also have to be a highly motivated individual and a strong team player.

For this opportunity, I am targeting candidates looking to earn anywhere from £30,000 to £45,000. I am happy to consider people who are CIS, PAYE or Limited Company.
