Job summary

Porcupine Union is seeking a junior full stack web developer to design, develop and maintain responsive web applications using .NET Core MVC, with hands-on work across front-end and back-end technologies in a collaborative team.

You will build reusable code, integrate APIs, ensure performance, participate in reviews, and contribute to digital product direction while growing your skills in React.js, Angular and Umbraco within a Windows environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of web development experience.
• Proficiency in C#, CSHTML, CSS, JavaScript/JQuery and .NET Core MVC.
• Familiarity with Bootstrap and Entity Frameworks.
• Experience in developing and consuming web services.
• Strong understanding of data formats like XML and JSON.
• Experience with SQL Server.
• Proficiency in Git and Azure DevOps practices.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with cross functional teams, including designers, animators and marketing.
• Build reusable code and libraries for future use.
• Integrate third party APIs and internal systems through web services.
• Ensure applications performance, quality and responsiveness.
• Participate in code reviews, testing and development processes.
• Maintain clear documentation and version control via Git and Azure DevOps.
• Contribute to the creative and strategic direction of digital products.
