Job summary

Porcupine Union is seeking a junior full stack web developer to design, develop, and maintain responsive web applications using .NET Core MVC. You will work across front-end and back-end technologies in a collaborative team.

Qualifications include at least 2 years of web development experience, strong C# and JavaScript skills, and familiarity with Bootstrap, EF, and web services. You will contribute to digital product direction and ensure quality, performance, and documentation.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of web development experience.
• Strong proficiency in C#, CSHTML, CSS, JavaScript/JQuery and .NET Core MVC.
• Familiarity with Bootstrap and Entity Frameworks.
• Experience in developing and consuming web services; handling XML and JSON formats.
• Experience with SQL Server; proficiency in Git and Azure DevOps practices.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with cross functional teams, including designers, animators and marketing.
• Build reusable code and libraries for future use.
• Integrate third party APIs and internal systems through web services.
• Ensure applications performance, quality and responsiveness.
• Participate in code reviews, testing and development processes.
• Maintain clear documentation and version control via Git and Azure DevOps.
• Contribute to the creative and strategic direction of digital products.
