60 Degrees in Cape Town (Tygervalley) is seeking a Junior Full Stack Software Engineer to join our product-driven engineering team. You will work on customer-facing SaaS features, backend services, and cloud-native integrations while learning from experienced engineers.

Qualifications

• 2-4 years of professional software development experience.
• Experience with C#/.NET and/or TypeScript development.
• Exposure to ASP.NET Core and RESTful API development.
• Working knowledge of SQL and/or NoSQL databases.
• Understanding of software engineering fundamentals and best practices.
• Experience using Git and collaborative development workflows.
• Exposure to cloud technologies and SaaS applications.
• Understanding of testing principles and quality-focused development.

Responsibilities

• Develop secure, reliable software features and enhancements.
• Build and maintain backend services and REST APIs.
• Contribute to frontend development when required.
• Write clean, testable, and maintainable code.
• Participate in code reviews and engineering discussions.
• Support automated testing and deployment processes.
• Assist with cloud infrastructure and CI/CD improvements.
