Our client is seeking a dynamic Junior Financial Manager to join their team and support the Group Finance Manager in leading the finance function, ensuring strong financial governance, and delivering key strategic insights.

This role is based in Springs, Johannesburg East.

Key Responsibilities:

As the Junior Financial Manager, you will play a vital role in supporting the business through:

  • Leading and overseeing financial accounting and reporting processes.
  • Analysing financial data to support strategic decision-making.
  • Driving the budgeting and forecasting processes.
  • Monitoring financial performance and identifying cost-saving opportunities.
  • Ensuring financial compliance with group standards and statutory regulations.
  • Supporting working capital management including debtors, creditors, and stock control.
  • Reviewing and approving payroll, tax calculations, and audit preparation.
  • Engaging with and managing finance staff to drive performance and continuous improvement.
  • Providing insights into manufacturing, product costing, and capex requirements.
  • Overseeing the financial aspects of the import process.

Requirements:

  • BCom Degree in Accounting or finance-related.
  • Completed SAICA/SAIPA articles.
  • 3 years proven experience in a similar role within a finance team.
  • Strong analytical, leadership, and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • A passion for continuous improvement and financial excellence.
